Discovering Well-Being through Ayurveda
Sunday, March 16th
Healing Tree Yoga, 605 Hancck St., Qunicy, MA
Ayurveda, or "the science of life", enables us to discover our own unique energies - our personal constitution. By identifying and maintaining our constitution's balance we can enhance our health and longevity. Ayurveda encourages individuals to actively participate in their own health and well-being through nutrition, exercise and daily routine. It is the oldest practiced health-care system in the world - a sister science to yoga.
Join us for an introduction to Ayurveda and take the opportunity to identify your personal constitution (prakruti) and learn new ways to improve your health, fitness and happiness. The workshop will include:
A basic overview of Ayurvedic philosophy
An opportunity to determine your personal body type
General guidelines for a daily routine
Individualized dietary guidelines
Yoga asanas based on your personal constitution
It will be an interactive workshop, so please wear comfortable
clothing.
Pre-registration is requested as class size is limited. The cost for
the work-shop will be $30.00 pre-registered.To register please call Mary at 781-789-2494 or send email to
